Dylan

This guy...

There aren't enough words to explain how deep my love for him is. He's my best friend, my biggest fan. Seriously, he is so supportive to me! Whatever crazy idea I may get, he listens, smiles, looks at me like I'm a bit crazy, but then says(and he means it), "Well, dear, go for it."

I mean who just does that!?

He has so much wisdom and yet still lets me go down all kinds of rabbit trails with my plans and goals and ideas, and doesn't say, "I told you so!" when it doesn't work out, or my interests move on to my next crazy idea.

He is just what I need in a lifemate. We're a team. And he's pretty much the best looking. :-)

Noise

Noise.
It's always bothered me.

From babyhood till now, I've been very sensitive to noises. My mom says that when I was about 18 months old, she was playing with me on the front yard. Then the neighbors started mowing their yard; I was so bothered that I toddled inside, shut the door and locked it for good measure. Yeah. Dad enjoyed that urgent rush home from work to unlock the door so mom could come back inside to me!

I can hear the tick tock of a wrist watch and it drives me nuts.

I hate ceiling fans, or any fans really.

Gum smacking? People yelling? Babies crying? Its.all.too.much.

I know I'm a major introvert and crave my alone time. But I think for me, this stage of my life I just tend to get overwhelmed easily. I can't handle a lot and I've been trying to figure out why its so hard for me.

I think I'm just so drained from constantly talking with people for 9 hours a day. I'm so done and over done even.

So I've been trying to purposefully limit the noises in my life. Anything that is making me stress or get overwhelmed..out it goes. I took off twitter from my phone. Its nice.

I think some of us are made for a simple life.  I crave that. I'm seeking that.

Those Kind of Bloggers

I didn't want to be one of those people.

You know, the ones who only live in their online world, creating beautiful ideals while living only a partial real life. I fought this whole online life for a few years. I made excuses:

I can't be a mom blogger seeing as I'm not a mom.
I can't be a diy blogger since I'm not crafty.
I can't be a thoughtful blogger because my writing isn't the best ever.
I can't be a....yeah.

That's what I told myself. But what if I process things by writing? What if my 'real life' has suffered because I wasn't processing it through the filter of my writing? What if maybe, I should just write for me? What if I long for the relationships that come from connecting with people who re blogging for the very same reasons that I am?

I dunno.

I'm one of those people.

You know, the ones who have to understand everything they say, feel, or do. My world is not right if I haven't had time to process life. I'm weird and unique like all of us. But I'm letting go of perfection and sense, just following my Leader's call.

We'll see.
